Ocean Threads opened the first store in 1991, at the Corolla Light Town Center. There are also four other convenient locations on the Outer Banks—Monteray Plaza, Corolla, Southern Shores at The Market Place, Nags Head at the Croatan Centre, and Avon at Hatteras Island Plaza.
